RKC Waalwijk will play a practice match against Feyenoord next Wednesday. They use it to raise money for Ukrainian refugees. All proceeds go to projects for the refugees.
The initiative comes from the main sponsor of Feyenoord, EuroParcs. Many groups of refugees from Ukraine are accommodated at the holiday parks of Europarcs.
The practice match between RKC and Feyenoord was previously planned, but has been converted by Feyenoord into a benefit duel. RKC supported this initiative: “A very nice gesture for a good cause”, says the Waalwijk club, which will see what else it can do.
The match will be played in De Kuip and will start at six o’clock in the evening.
