Feyenoord has confirmed the departure of Marcos Senesi to Bournemouth. The defender was already missing from the selection of the Rotterdam club for the competition match at Vitesse last weekend due to the upcoming transfer to the club from the English Premier League.
“Saying goodbye to Feyenoord means a lot to me,” says Senesi. “Feyenoord was my first club in Europe and I have always felt very much at home in Rotterdam. I have come a long way with the club and the supporters and experienced impressive times. Not least because of our performances in Europe last season. I came to Rotterdam for that purpose three years ago and I am still very happy with that choice.”
Senesi made the switch from Argentine San Lorenzo to Feyenoord in the summer of 2019. He is already the third Feyenoord player to make the switch to the Premier League this summer, after Tyrell Malacia (Manchester United) and Luis Sinisterra (Leeds United).
