In the UEFA Europa League Round of 16, the Dutch representative Feyenoord and the Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk faced each other in the rematch of 1-1. The match, marked by the performance of our national football player Orkun Kökçü, ended with Feyenoord’s 7-1 superiority.
The goals that brought Feyenoord the victory were scored by Santiago Tomas Gimenez in the 9th minute, Orkun Kökçü in the 24th and 38th (P) minutes, Oussama Idrissi in the 49th and 60th minutes, Alireza Jahanbakhsh in the 64th minute and Danilo in the 66th minute.
Shakhtar Donetsk’s only goal came from Kevin Jesus Kelsy Genez in the 87th minute.
Orkun Kökçü, 22-year-old captain of Feyenoord, assisted in the fifth goal, as well as two goals.
Feyenoord, who easily eliminated Shakhtar Donetsk in the second match, made his name in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League.
