Fewer Qbuzz buses until mid-December due to staff shortages

Qbuzz will continue to operate according to the late summer timetable until mid-December, as has been the case since the summer holidays.

The reason for this is a shortage of personnel, partly due to the carrier’s high absenteeism due to illness.

Initially, the timetable would be resumed after the autumn holidays. The late summer timetable will now continue to apply on working days until the end of the 2023 timetable period, in mid-December. Until then, additional journeys will be made on some lines.

Extra rides when busy

  • Q link 3 and 4 : four extra journeys during rush hour on line 3 between the Loefzijde stop in Lewenborg and P+R Hoogkerk. During the morning rush hour, these journeys start at the Centrum stop in Roden as line 4, at P+R Hoogkerk these buses continue as line 3 to the Loefzijde.
  • Q link 15 : extra trips are added at the busiest times.
  • Line 107 : one ride to and from Stadskanaal in the morning.
  • Qliner 300 : most extra rush-hour journeys do not run, they run every fifteen minutes during the day, using double-deckers as much as possible. There are some additional journeys at the busiest peak times.
  • Qliner 304 and 314 : there are slightly fewer peak-hour journeys than normal and the peak-hour journeys on line 304 only run between Groningen and Marum.
  • Qliner 309 and 319 : in the afternoon every fifteen minutes from Groningen to Kloosterveen in Assen. Line 309 runs every fifteen minutes to the bus station in Marsdijk. There is a bus to Groningen every five minutes during the morning rush hour. In the afternoon, line 309 runs eight times an hour.
