In the first quarter of this year, houses in Limburg were 17.1 percent more expensive than the year before. The sale of houses in Limburg decreased by 30.4 percent.

This is evident from figures from Statistics Netherlands and Land Registry.

The average selling price in our province was 323,184 euros in the past quarter. In the first quarter of 2021, this was EUR 295,810.

In the first quarter of this year, about 44,000 owner-occupied homes were given a new owner nationwide. That equates to 34 percent less sales than a year earlier. That is the lowest number in six years and more than a third less than last year. The sales price was again 20 percent higher than in 2021. That is the largest increase ever measured by CBS and Land Registry.

Sell ​​houses
The largest decrease in the number of home sales was in Utrecht. Sales there fell by 38.6 percent. In Flevoland, the decline in the number of houses sold was the smallest, at almost 24 percent. But the 25 percent price increase is again the highest.
