The start of construction of the new construction project Parkrand in the Groenewei district in Meerstad was celebrated on Friday.
Alderman Rik van Niejenhuis, together with Arnoud Gils (director of Wijnen Groningen) and Kiki Ongering, gave (project developer Van Wijnen) the symbolic starting signal for the laying of the last ground floor floor slab on which future residents have left their personal message.
After this act, the start of construction of 29 apartments of Parkrand Estate was celebrated together with the alderman, developer and builder Van Wijnen. Construction of the 18 single-family homes of Parkrand BLVD will start this spring. There was also the opportunity for residents to meet their new neighbors.
In the elbow of De Vossenburglaan
New construction project Parkrand is located at the entrance of the Groenewei district. The Parkrand Estate apartment building will have six floors and will be located at the elbow of De Vossenburglaan. In addition, the single-family homes will be located at Parkrand BLVD. The single-family homes are situated slightly elevated in the landscape, on a brick terrace with a view over Park Meerstad and the Woldmeer. The future residents of Parkrand will find themselves in a green and water-rich environment with plenty of space. The single-family homes have all been sold, some apartments are still available.
