Helge Schneider cancels beach chair concerts

This year, the Jena “Kulturarena” celebrates its 30th anniversary from July 14th to August 21st. For the anniversary edition, the traditional festival has announced performances by the established music greats Helge Schneider, Jan Delay and Sportfreunde Stiller, among others. The stage at Theaterplatz should also give space to younger artists such as Danger Dan, Province and Jeremias.
Presale begins
Advance sales begin on Tuesday (February 22nd), initially only half of the planned contingent will be offered due to the uncertain development of the corona virus. The rest can then be released in May, depending on the situation, according to the organizers. Despite corona restrictions, the Kulturarena attracted around 19,000 visitors last year – although only a quarter of the seats that are available in normal years could be sold.
