The tax authorities reason that a non-profit organization that organizes activities that are also offered by commercial players should be taxed in the same way. But in a press release, the non-profit organization Dranoeter states that this logic is “short-sighted and dangerous” because it “ignores the social and cultural added value”.
“We always put social and cultural goals first,” says director Vanden Broeck.
