Good news for Frank Lammers fans. He once again takes on the role of Ferry Bouman for Netflix, in a series based on the hit Undercover. The spin-off is called Ferry: De Serie, the streaming service announced. It is about Bouman’s early days as a drug producer.
The spin-off shows how drug kingpin Ferry Bouman gained a foothold in the Brabant underworld as a starting xtc producer.
Young Ferry
A young Ferry, just like in the film Ferry, which was released last year. Many well-known characters from Undercover will return in the spin-off. Leading actors Frank Lammers and Elise Schaap are participating in any case. Netflix does not want to say anything about other actors who may return.
The new series is set after the movie. Ferry already knows his great love Daniëlle and her brother Lars. “With Ferry the series we go back in time”, says lead actor Lammers. “Besides that I am also very curious about how Ferry Ferry has become, this is a wonderful way to stay young.”
It is not yet known when the recordings will start or when the series will be on TV or on the streaming service.
