A young couple from Rosmalen suddenly had a very special roommate on Saturday morning. After they had done their shopping, a ferret casually walked in through the front door with them. The animal then barricaded itself in the bathroom.
Surprised by their new roommate, the couple called the Den Bosch Animal Ambulance, which sent two employees to pick up the ferret. An appeal has now been placed on social media. Who owns this ferret? Someone soon came forward who recognized the animal, it was her neighbor’s ferret.
The ferret, who turned out to be named Freddy, was quickly reunited with his owner. It is not yet clear how Freddy was able to escape.
