Fernando Alonso was the celebrated hero of the Canadian GP’s time trials.
Alpine’s 40-year-old Spanish star did perfectly as the track dried minute by minute. Alonso’s last lap was enough to elevate him to second place. Only the pile man had time left Max Verstappen.
