The reason why the 21-year-old football player is not considered a foreigner is that he complies with the TFF’s statute on keeping players under the age of 21 out of quota.
The statement on the official website of TFF is as follows:
“Super League Clubs, on the condition that at least 1 of them was born on 01.01.1998 and later, in addition to the right to list a maximum of 14 foreign national football players in the A Team List, on the condition that they were born on or after 01.01.2001,
– have played in at least 10 competitions for their country’s national teams, including the U14 national team;
