UEFA announced that Fenerbahçe is among the top 20 teams that will generate the highest commercial revenue in Europe in 2023.
According to the UEFA report, Fenerbahçe became the 18th team with the highest commercial revenue in Europe last year with 58 million euros.
Among the top 20 teams, apart from the 5 major European league teams, only Fenerbahçe from Turkey, Celtic from Scotland and Ajax from the Netherlands were included.
The report stated that the commercial revenues of the top 20 clubs were almost double (1.9 times) their TV broadcasting revenues.
It was stated that among the teams in the top 20, only Napoli and Inter’s 2023 broadcast revenue was higher than their commercial revenue.
It was announced that Fenerbahçe, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Ajax and Celtic earned 5 to 10 times more income from commercial activities compared to TV broadcasting revenues.
