Continuing its preparations for the new season, Fenerbahce played its first friendly match under the management of coach Jorge Jesus. Fighting against North Macedonian team Shkupi at Samandıra Can Bartu Facilities at 18.00, Fenerbahçe left the field with a 2-2 tie.
The opposing team opened the goal curtain early in the fight. With Sunday’s goal in the 13th minute, Shkupi took the lead: 0-1. Fenerbahce found the equalizing goal in the 16th minute. Meeting the ball that Berisha dropped with his head, Lincoln brought the round leather nets together: 1-1. In the 47th minute of the second half of the match, Shkupi took the lead again. Scoring his team’s first goal, Sunday took the stage again and lifted Fenerbahçe’s nets for the second time: 1-2. Fenerbahce caught the draw in the 82nd minute of the fight. In the 67th minute of the match, Çağtay Kurukalıp was injured and left the game. Uğur Kaan Yıldız was replaced by Çağtay.
