Fenerbahçe Opet took the lead by 4-1 with the points of Eda Erdem Dündar and Fedorovtseva right at the beginning of the tie-break set. VakıfBank caught a 7-7 draw with Guimaraes’ effective play. Bringing the balance to the score once again in the 10th issue, VakıfBank could not prevent its opponent from equalizing the score in the 14th issue. Having gained the upper hand with Haak once again, the yellow-blacks won the tie-break set 16-14 and the match 3-2 after Fedorovtseva threw the ball out, making the situation 2-2 in the series.
