I thank our President for giving me the opportunity to work and for approaching me and my family with love. As of today, I am not the coach of Fenerbahçe. I’m leaving Turkey with deep scars.
I thank the Turkish people. There was a great tragedy here, I saw that the Turkish people are a great people. It’s been a while since I took this decision, there was this idea. That doesn’t mean I don’t want this place and I don’t like it. There is a loving people. I will go to Portugal. I will see if I can make my dreams come true.
I wish it hadn’t happened, we had 3 preparation periods. Breaks due to summer period, World Cup and earthquake. Having so many breaks has changed a lot of things. It affected the sporting reality of the league. Many games were won off the field. I would do a lot of the things I’ve done, none of us are perfect and neither am I. said.
