Fenerbahçe’s young football player Arda Güler made important statements to the club television about his career and goals.

“WE WILL CONTINUE OUR FIGHT UNTIL THE LAST MOMENT”
First of all, I would like to congratulate all our fans, everyone. I wish you happy holidays with your loved ones. We have a match in 2 days. We continue our work. It is a great experience and experience for me to be in such an environment. We have 6 matches in the league. We want to look match by match and do our best in both lanes. We are eager for both goals. We are sure that if we win every match, we will win both the league and the cup. Our opponents will lose points. If we make 6 out of 6, I hope we will be champions. Goals coming in the last minutes make us very happy, but we should not get used to it so that our fans can watch the match comfortably and we can play comfortably. Support is important for every player, but especially for young players like me, this gives a lot of self-confidence. I am loved by everyone, either biased or impartial. Thanks again to everyone for this. I am doing my best not to leave their support unpaid, and I will continue to do so. I’m on good terms with everyone in the team. They all help me a lot. It’s my first year, I’m experiencing some things for the first time. They also act like big brother, friend and sister. I have no problems with anyone. Everyone tells me I have to work hard. They say that my character is very smooth and that I should continue like this. ‘Don’t listen to anyone. Everyone will tell you something. They give advice such as ‘Continue as yourself’. That’s how I continue.
“I LOVE PLAY FOOTBALL”
I don’t feel pressure. I’m trying to have fun. These were my childhood dreams. Playing football is a great source of happiness for me, as it is for all of us. I know everyone expects a lot from me. At first, I was afraid too, whether there would be pressure on me, how I would do it, but when I go on the field, I forget everything. I just enjoy football. This helps me too. I love play football. I was born with football. I’ve been playing football as long as I can remember. I enjoy playing football more especially in home matches. We always have to work. After the training we have to continue what we are doing. I always work. There are things that make me exist and I have to make them more perfect. Doing these once or twice is not enough. I’m always working so I can always do these things.
“I DO EXTRA WORK”
Before team training, we have fitness exercises. I also do extra fitness. After training, I also work with the ball. Shot, free kick. Very important. We need to be ready when the opportunity comes. We must always work. As I play, I will score goals, I believe. I’ve watched a lot of Alex since I was little. I watched Mesut brother a lot. Now I watch Odegaard and De Bruyne a lot. Very top players. It is also very enjoyable to watch football and chat about football. I follow world football. We also need to adapt to the innovations in modern football. That’s why it’s important to watch. Maybe every move I make will be exemplified by the little ones. So I have to be much more careful. When I was little, I used to take someone as an example. Now, if they take me as an example, I am very happy. I hope they can achieve their dreams too.
“EVERY MATCH IS FINAL”
As I said before, I don’t feel any pressure. We need to do this with happiness and pleasure, not pressure. I’m trying to turn it from pressure to happiness. We have the last 6 matches in the league. We look at every match as a final. Because we look at it that way, sometimes last minute goals come. We believe, I hope we will reach the goal. Beşiktaş match was a difficult match for us. That loss was sad, but after that we had to react like a big team and the last matches we played are proof of that. Faith is spoken a lot in the team. First we have to believe. If we maintain this belief with the support of our fans, we believe we will. If we believe and show our faith on the field, I think this is the key point. Medipol Başakşehir match was a well-deserved win and everyone was very happy afterwards. Our happiness was doubled with the last minute goal.
“THE MOST IMPORTANT GOAL I’VE SHOWED…”
The most important goal I have scored so far was my goal in the Dynamo Kiev match. We were the leader of the group that day. Miha Zajc’s goal against Karagümrük was very important and meaningful within the team.
“WE BECOME A BETTER TEAM WITH THE SUPPORT OF OUR FANS”
Let our fans continue to believe in us until the end. We believe and we know we can do it. We also feel their faith. We just want them to continue this support.
