Jorge Jesus made a statement before the match in Fenerbahçe, which will host Kayserispor in the quarter-finals of the Turkish Cup.
Jesus said, “The fact that the tournament is played over a single match at this stage shows that every team can win. Kayserispor, a good team, I expect a tough match. I hope we will be the side that passes the round. Our goal is to win the Turkish Cup.
We have to assemble. Our community is not used to this kind of defeat. We lost at a time when we were going well. Two players of Kayserispor, Sporting and Benfica, were my students, we will play against a quality team.”
