Femke Koekoek (CDA) temporarily resigns from council work in Hoogeveen

CDA member Femke Koekoek temporarily stops as a councilor of the municipality of Hoogeveen for health reasons.

Koekoek, leader of the CDA in Hoogeveen, and her husband Peter became the proud parents of son François on October 16. However, complications occurred after the birth. Because Koekoek needs to take time to recover from this, she has decided to temporarily stop as a councilor. She will be replaced by Klaas Kroezen. Vice party leader Bert Otten takes over the position of party leader.

“We are grateful that Femke and François are currently in good health,” says Otten. “The recovery will demand a lot from Femke and her family. It is therefore understandable that Femke temporarily steps down from the council and takes the time for her rehabilitation.”
