With the ticket chaos, Hertha has done the next embarrassment. Now only trainer guru Felix Magath can prevent the impending relegation. A comment from BZ sports director Robert Matiebel.
The fate of Hertha BSC is in the hands of one man: Felix Magath!
Ironically, before the duel for the Bundesliga with Hamburger Sport-Verein on Thursday in the Olympic Stadium, the original HSVer is the great and currently only hope of rescue for the capital club.
Why? Because Magath seems to be the only one at Hertha who works professionally and with total commitment at the top level.
There is little evidence of this in many other places in the club. Latest embarrassment: Hertha didn’t even get organized ticket sales for the first leg.
You have to imagine it: the big pound of a home game in front of almost 70,000 Hertha fans (7500 tickets go anyway to the HSV) was possibly carelessly sloppy.
The fans are afraid that tens of thousands of HSV fans could buy tickets through the Hertha ticket offices and overrun the Olympic Stadium.
How else could it be? Herthan first, of course. First the club should ensure that all blue and whites get their cards before the opponent can get their hands on them. But the club couldn’t do that.
What hope of salvation? Only Felix Magath!
