The king Felipe VI closes this Tuesday the round of investiture inquiries after interviewing seven parliamentary groups -ERC, Junts, EH Bildu and BNG will not attend-. Thus, the path is opened for the designation of the candidate to preside over the Government and to hold the investiture debate in Congress, where he must receive the support of the Chamber.
The XV legislature, which launched the last Thursday 17 after constituting the Courts, advances in a scenario full of unknowns, the same ones left by the electoral result of 23J, without a candidate with a result that allows him, from the outset, to form a Government.
The leader of the PP and winner of the elections, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the acting President of the Government and General Secretary of the PSOE, Pedro Sanchez, have shown their willingness to submit to the investiture. The socialist leader will not pose any obstacles to the King promoting the investiture of Feijóo first.
