Feijóo turns on the networks with a Rajoy-style phrase

  • The PP leader inserts a convoluted assertion about truth and lies that has reminded the tweeters a lot of the former Prime Minister

Alberto Núñez Feijóo is not just Galician. He is that he acts as a Galician. And he acts, at times, as an outstanding student of Mariano Rajoy. At least, it seems that way in some of his speeches and so It was captured this Saturday by social networks.

The leader of the PP concluded this June 11 his meeting day for the electoral campaign in Andalusia with an event in Malaga in which he accompanied the Chairman of the Board and candidate for re-election, Juanma Moreno. Feijóo appealed to those who doubt whether to vote for Vox: “If they want to govern with the PP, vote for the original, vote for the PP“, he told the 3,500 supporters who attended the rally. That was the official message, the headline, let’s say, but perhaps this act will also go to the newspaper library for its way of emphasizing that a government has to tell the truth.

Here’s the (convoluted) phrase of yore of just 30 seconds that twitter dazzled (and is not for less).

“The things that last a long time are the things that deserve the truth. The truth and the lie is what is worth dedicating a life to. What for? So that the truth defeats the lie and the lie does not defeat the truth. I believe that, dear friends, that it is part of our commitment to general interests.”

The phrase It immediately went viral on social media.. And the ruling was unanimous: it was very, very similar to Rajoy’s style. To those mythical sentences, and so Marianist: “The worse the better for everyone, and the worse for everyone the better. Better for me, yours political benefit”, “it is the neighbor who elects the mayor and it is the mayor who wants the neighbors to be the mayor”. Feijóo makes merits to succeed Rajoy… although the networks for now they score him worse than his ‘teacher’.
