With this message, the president of the PP, Alberto Nuñez Feijóo, has gone hunting for the vote of Citizens to guarantee that “there will be no populism” or “independence” in the city government, where polls place the PP as the only non-independence party from the center right to the right with guaranteed seats in the new Barcelona consistory.
At the central meeting of the party in the Catalan capital, Feijóo has also promised to “reunite constitutionalism” and has been convinced that in the “next weeks and months” there will be many voters and supporters of the orange party who will go to the popular project “because they have understood the message that if we unite we are stronger”, he pointed out, thinking of the municipal elections, but also of the general elections.
