Feel like supping, but no board? You can rent one at this locker at the Noord Aa

Around the Zoetermeerse Plas are two large, blue boxes with the text stand up paddle. The box contains four paddle boards and on the outside of the box you can read information about how it works. of course, indebuurt has already sorted it out for you!

You can reserve and rent a supboard at an agreed time via an app. Very handy if you don’t have a sup board yourself and want to paddle around the Zoetermeerse Plas.

Personal items in locker

The company Equip Sport rents SUP boards in lockers in more than 300 places in Europe. Via the Equip app reserve your board on the spot and open the locker. Then slide the SUP board, paddle and life jacket out of the box. You can safely store your personal belongings in a separate place in the locker. You can find the two self-service boxes at Restaurant Aa-Zicht and Restaurant Happy Moose.

Nice on the water

With your supboard you can stay in the middle of the pond, but you can also take a trip of more than an hour through the Noordhove district. From the water you have a beautiful view of Zoetermeer backyards, reed beds and water birds. You can take a break along the waterfront for a drink and something to eat. Or you can get an ice cream at one of the catering establishments. But, don’t leave your paddle board unattended. Afterwards you paddle back to your starting point and store the sports equipment back in the box.
