Fedez, the father: We must be strong for him

Dfter the new emergency operation to eliminate bleeding from another anastomotic ulcer and a further blood transfusion, now Fedez «is a little better». The confirmation comes from father of the rapper, Franco Lucia, who was next to his son at the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Milan. Now however, he underlines, «we must be strong for him».

Fedez still in hospital

Together with the singer’s father, she also went to the hospital his wife Annamaria Berrinzaghi, mother and manager of Fedez. Upon leaving, neither of them spoke out about a possible date for the singer’s resignation. NoDespite the slight improvement, with hemoglobin levels recovering, Fedez is weakis therefore under observation and is constantly monitored.

The two ulcers and the internal bleeding

Fedez was admitted to the emergency surgery and oncology department of Fatebenefratelli on Thursday due to two ulcers which had caused copious internal bleeding. And his wife Chiara Ferragni had fled Paris to hastily return to Milan and be next to her husband. After undergoing surgery and transfusions, Fedez recovered and thanked the doctors on social media for having “saved his life”.

Another bleed and a new transfusion

After three days, in the night between Sunday and Monday, however, the rapper had to urgently go back under the knife due to the appearance of a new ulcer which was causing another hemorrhage. Also in this case the operation eliminated the bleeding, and the singer underwent another transfusion.

The doctor’s words

For now, therefore, the medical staff is not talking about resignation. Also because it cannot be ruled out that other ulcerations will recur: the surgeon who operated on the singer a year and a half ago to remove the pancreatic tumor has in fact explained to Corriere della Sera that, although the appearance of anastomotic ulcers after such an operation is a “relatively rare” event, but it can still happen. And the reappearance of the ulcers “cannot be ruled out”.
