Today, the federal government is continuing negotiations with energy giant Engie about keeping the two youngest nuclear power plants Doel 4 and Tihange 3 open longer. Normally, the intention was to have the deal completed before New Year’s, but that deadline turned out to be too tight. The timing to reach an agreement is difficult to estimate.
