For a change, Liam Gallagher is making a name for himself with music: The former Oasis singer has released a new song with “Everything’s Electric”. It also doubles as the lead single from Gallagher’s third solo album. C’MON YOU KNOW, as it is titled, is scheduled for release on May 27, 2022.
Very prominent support can be heard on the drums in “Everything’s Electric”: None other than Foo Fighters head Dave Grohl is visiting Liam Gallagher here – and is also credited as co-songwriter. The two rock stars have known each other for a long time. In 2017, Grohl came out as a fan when he cited hanging out with Liam Gallagher as his favorite moment at Glastonbury. Gallagher, in turn, has already been spotted crowd surfing during a Foo Fighters concert. Producer Greg Kurstin has also worked with both artists.
This summer, Liam Gallagher plans to perform two sold-out concerts at Knebworth, apparently in memory of Oasis’ legendary performances there in 1996. His solo debut AS YOU WERE was released in 2016, followed by WHY ME? WHY NOT. 2019. Both albums reached #1 in the UK Singles Chart.
