Josef Seibel opened the restaurant 1886 Genussfabrik, which is located next to the shoe factory’s adventure and visitor center in Hauenstein, Rhineland-Palatinate. The restaurant is dedicated to regional cuisine, the shoe supplier announced on Wednesday. There is breakfast, coffee and cake as well as tapas and cocktails.
On the site, which was modernized last year, there is also an event location that can be used for events such as photo shoots, film shoots, conferences and family celebrations. The kitchen of the 1886 Genussfabrik can also provide catering for events.
