Fears of cholera outbreak on Norwegian cruise ship in Indian Ocean

More than 3,000 people are stuck on a cruise ship off the coast of the East African island of Mauritius, after several passengers on board suffered gastrointestinal complaints. Due to the sick passengers, the Mauritius authorities refuse to allow the Norwegian Dawn to dock in the port of Port Louis. There are fears of a cholera outbreak on board, as southern Africa suffers the worst outbreak of this infectious disease in years. The ship was previously refused on the French island of La Réunion.
