Residents cannot yet access their mailbox. “We are going to install new (temporary) mailboxes. It is not yet known exactly when this will be possible. We will continue to work on this. Also together with PostNL. As soon as there is more clarity, we will inform residents about this,” says Stadgenoot.
There is also glass and other waste in many places in the building due to the damage. The housing association says it is cleaning and tidying up.
Damage to apartment due to explosion
Although the worst damage to the homes has been repaired by emergency repairs to the front door, window frames and glass, not everything has been repaired yet. “We will carry out the final repairs in the coming weeks to months,” Stadgenoot writes. “This may take a little longer. This is due to the delivery time of materials and because there is damage to a large number of homes. We are doing everything we can to carry out this repair as quickly as possible. As soon as more is known about the planning, we will inform the residents.”
