‘FC Volendam brings in the desired defender with Benamar’

FC Volendam seems to have struck again on the transfer market. According to The Telegraph Benaissa Benamar is about to be hired from FC Utrecht until the end of the season. FC Volendam cannot yet officially confirm the defender’s transfer.

Benamar made the switch from Telstar in January of last year to FC Utrecht. However, he never managed to become a permanent fixture in the Domstad. At FC Volendam he is the desired reinforcement in the rear. Due to the injuries of Brian Plat and Derry John Murkin, the leader of the first division was looking for an extra player for the defense.

Third acquisition

Benamar also played in the youth for FC Volendam between 2012 and 2014. Almere City and several foreign clubs were also interested in the 24-year-old footballer. Benamar is already the third acquisition for FC Volendam in this transfer period. Previously became Bilal Ould-Chick captured and became Franco Antonucci re-rented from Feyenoord.

On Friday FC Volendam will play the away match against NAC. Kick-off in Breda is at 8 p.m. NH Sport reports the game live on NH Radio.
