FC Twente will definitively take over Michal Sadílek from PSV next summer. The Czech midfielder is playing on a rental basis in Enschede this season. Sadílek signed a two-year contract with Twente, with an option for another year.
“From the first day I felt at home at FC Twente”, says the 22-year-old Czech, who is a fixed value in the team of trainer Ron Jans. In 26 league matches he scored one goal for the current number 4 of the Eredivisie. “The football that FC Twente plays suits me well. I am happy that I am now going to make the final step to FC Twente. It is also important for me that I play a lot here, so that I stay in the picture with the Czech national team.”
PSV took Sadílek away from the Czech Republic at the age of 16. He made his professional football debut with Jong PSV at the end of 2016. Sadílek played 27 matches for the Eindhoven main squad in the Eredivisie and scored two goals. Last season he played football on loan in his own country for Slovan Liberec. PSV receives a transfer fee from FC Twente, because the Czech was under contract for another year.
