FC St. Pauli and 1. FC Heidenheim share the points

FC St. Pauli no longer wins in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The Hamburgers fought a respectable 0-0 draw against 1. FC Heidenheim in a largely lengthy game on Saturday evening, but have been without a win in six matches since mid-August. The visitors are two points behind third place in the table.

St. Pauli, in front of 29,242 spectators at the Millerntor, the uncertainty was clearly noticeable. Although the hosts initially got in front of the opposing goal several times, the best example was set by striker Etienne Amneyido, who hit the ball completely wrong (17′). Heidenheim had started better, but then limited himself to orderly defensive work.

However, Andreas Geipl (23rd) could have seen the red card instead of just a yellow card for his reckless attack on St. Pauli’s full-back Manolis Saliakas. Video assistant Sören Storks did not intervene from Cologne.

Heidenheim came out of the half-time break with more offensive drive, Adrian Beck (54th) hit the crossbar from the turn. On the other hand, Amenyido failed again in a weak second division game, but he was offside anyway (70th).
