Bundesliga relegated FC Schalke 04 continues to fill its empty transfer coffers.
After Amine Harit made a permanent move to his loan club Olympique Marseille for five million euros, Marvin Pieringer is also leaving the Royal Blues, as they announced on Monday.
However, the striker will not remain at SC Paderborn, for whom he last loaned out, but will strengthen 1. FC Heidenheim before their debut season in the Bundesliga. The 23-year-old signed a contract there until 2027.
According to the “Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung”, Schalke will receive a fee of 1.8 million euros for Pieringer. There are also various bonus payments. The S04 management is confident of ultimately redeeming around two million euros, they say.
