“New beginning” at FC Schalke 04? Frank Baumann starts as a sports director in Gelsenkirchen in summer. According to “Sky”, the 49-year-old together with squad planner Ben Manga is currently looking around for a new coach. The duo should squint towards 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
FCK coach Markus Begin is supposed to be one of several coaching candidates of FC Schalke 04. Baumann still knows the 50-year-old from Werder Bremen. Initially commitment to the SVW ended prematurely in November 2021 after a vaccination pass affair, the coach apologized in retrospect.
