After farewell from Fürth
Second division relegated FC Ingolstadt 04 has committed a new number one. Marius Funk comes on a free transfer from SpVgg Greuther Fürth and has a contract until June 30, 2025. Funk played 16 games for the “Kleeblatt” in six years, nine of them in the past season.
“Marius Funk is a football-savvy keeper and thus combines our ideas of a modern goalkeeper. In addition, he had the opportunity in Fürth to gain valuable experience in the Bundesliga. We are convinced that Marius, with his charisma and his skills, will give our defense the necessary stability in the coming season,” said sporting director Malte Metzelder.
