After only eight missions
FC Ingolstadt has parted ways with Nassim Boujellab (22) with immediate effect. The midfielder “repeatedly violated internal club and team rules and regulations”, as the bottom of the table in the 2nd Bundesliga announced on Sunday evening as a reason.
The “Schanzer” had loaned the three-time Moroccan national player from FC Schalke 04 in July 2021 until the end of the season. Since then, however, he has only made eight competitive appearances as a substitute and has not been able to meet the sporting expectations of the promoted team. Boujellab is now returning to FC Schalke six months earlier than planned, where his contract runs until 2023.
