After three games without a win, Spain’s surprise team FC Girona has found its way back to success in La Liga.
The Catalans defeated Rayo Vallecano 3-0 (0-0) on Monday evening and climbed back to second place in the table with 59 points behind record champions Real Madrid (65).
The Ukrainian Viktor Tsygankov (52nd) and the Brazilian Savio (90th+1/90th+5) scored the goals. In the final phase, Pep Chavarria was shown a yellow-red card by the guests (76′).
