On the last day of the transfer period, FC Emmen has secured the services of Mohamed Bouchouari. The 21-year-old attacking right back is rented from RSC Anderlecht for one season.
Bouchouari is no stranger to the Dutch fields. From 2010 to 2012, the Belgian Moroccan played in the PSV youth academy, after which he made the switch to Zulte Waregem in Belgium.
In 2018, he earned a transfer to Anderlecht, where he returned in December 2020 after a trip to Luxembourg’s F91 Dudelange. He mainly made his minutes for RSCA Futures, the youth team of Anderlecht.
Bouchouari has to compete with Keziah Veendorp in Emmen, just like last season, the base customer in the right back position. The club still has a right back under contract with Arnaud Luzayadio.
