Kian Slor (19) has been suspended for four games by FC Emmen. The club accuses the player of not being honest about a positive corona infection.
This is reported by the Dagblad van het Noorden. A while ago, Slor got corona-related complaints, after which he called in sick. Slor had to do a PCR test from his club. The player said he did so, after which he saw the suspicion of contamination confirmed. However, the proof, the confirmation of the positive test, never ended up in the mailbox of the FC Groningen mercenary. FC Emmen did not believe this statement and imposed a suspension on him.
Due to the suspension, Slor has already missed two matches (Jong PSV away and Jong FC Utrecht at home). Tonight he will not be on the match sheet against FC Volendam. In addition, he will miss the match against VVV-Venlo next Saturday. He then rejoins the main squad.
Slor has accepted the suspension and does not want to comment further on the matter. The 19-year-old Sappemeerster is not in Dick Lukkien’s plans anyway and will return to FC Groningen after this season, where he is under contract until 2025.
