FC Emmen allows Gonzalo Sánchez to return to Peru. The Italian-Peruvian attacker signed a contract for two seasons in Drenthe last summer, but has not yet played in official matches.
“He wanted to return to Peru because of a lack of playing time and the club cooperated in that. We wish Gonzalo good luck with the continuation of his career,” said the number 16 of the Eredivisie.
“Gonzalo has had a serious injury and is a center forward that we give time. We hope that his potential, which has been proven in the past, will come to fruition”, said Emmen chairman Ronald Lubbers about the South American last summer.
