FC Eindhoven has retained fourth place in the Kitchen Champion Division thanks to a narrow victory over Jong FC Utrecht. In the final phase, the Eindhoven team managed to score and thus secure the victory. Young PSV lost just before time.
Charles-Andreas Brym scored the only and winning goal for the Brabant club in the 81st minute, who came on 26 points from fourteen games.
FC Eindhoven was not at its best in Utrecht and seemed to be heading for another loss of points for a long time. Trainer Rob Penders changed almost his entire midfield at half time, but that did not have an immediate effect.
After Brym’s late goal, FC Eindhoven also finished with ten men. Three minutes into stoppage time, Collin Seedorf received his second yellow card, after which he had to leave the field with a red card.
Where FC Eindhoven was allowed to take home the three points, that did not apply to Jong PSV. Ten minutes before the end, Ilias Alhaft scored the 0-1 on the Herdgang for Almere City FC. That was it, as a result of which the Eindhoven promises drop to fourteenth place in the ranking.
