The teams from Brabant performed differently in the Kitchen Champion Division on Friday evening. That was how it was in Tilburg and Breda, but FC Eindhoven saw De Graafschap score four times at the Aalsterweg.
Willem II therefore won in its own Koning Willem II stadium, but it was a narrow victory over Jong Ajax (2-1). Heerkens and Svensson gave the home team a 2-0 lead, after which Hlynsson scored against before the break. This was it.
Other competitions
In Breda, the points also went to the home team. It eventually became 3-2 for NAC against FC Dordrecht. In the Rat Verlegh Stadium, Martina, Wernersson and Rutten scored for the Breda formation.
VVV-Venlo had no answer at home to an effective TOP Oss. It became 0-1. Helmond Sport was too strong at home for last-placed Jong FC Utrecht (2-0). The goals were scored by Lieftink and Scholten. FC Eindhoven experienced yet another difficult evening. The team was unable to make a fist at home against De Graafschap, which won the match with 0-4 and ease. It was the fifth time in a row that FC Eindhoven lost, in which it also failed to score.
FC Den Bosch and Jong PSV will play in the Kitchen Champion Division on Sunday and Monday respectively.
