FC Den Bosch and TOP Oss enter the winter break with a defeat

FC Den Bosch was working on a nice series, but at home against VVV Venlo, coach Jack de Gier’s team dropped the three points. It became 0-2. FC Den Bosch will remain in thirteenth place in the Kitchen Champion Division for the time being. TOP Oss also lost, 3-0 at Heracles Almelo.

The Venlo hits came very early and very late in the game. In the third minute Daan Huisman opened the score with a hard shot and in the 87th minute Sven Braken set the final score at 0-2 from a nicely taken corner.

Until this Saturday, FC Den Bosch had only lost one of the last seven matches. At the beginning of the week, Jong Ajax even managed to make up a two-goal deficit twice. It would have liked to have treated the more than four thousand fans to a victory on Saturday evening. It didn’t last for a moment. The home team paid the toll for the poor start against the Anxiety gegner from Venlo.

FC Den Bosch and VVV now have a winter break of a month. The people of Den Bosch will pick up the thread on December 11 with an away match against Telstar.

Heracles Almelo – TOP Oss 3-0
TOP Oss was more than a size too small for Heracles Almelo. The team of trainer Kristof Aelbrecht almost continuously had its back against the wall. She got off with a 3-0 defeat against the leader of the KKD. Dirk Schoofs gave the home club a 2-0 lead with goals in the 17th and 20th minutes, both times from a corner. Heracles created several chances, but only scored again after more than an hour in the chilly Erve Asito in Almelo. Emil Hansson then converted a penalty, awarded after Ömer Mert Gündüz had attacked Thomas Bruns illegally with a hip swing. A yellow card was shown four times, for TOP players Richonell Margaret and Lorenzo Piqué, among others.

TOP enters the winter break as number seventeen. The points battle will resume on December 11 with a home game against the last team.

NAC Breda will play its last game of this year for the time being this evening, at home against PEC Zwolle, which is second behind Heracles.

Willem II and FC Dordrecht close the competition on Sunday afternoon with a match in the King Willem II Stadium in Tilburg.
