FC Bayern | Xabi Alonso a factor? Casemiro supposedly wants to go to Munich

The rumors about Casemiro moving to FC Bayern are not new. Now new, wild speculation is spilling out of Brazil.

Last summer, Brazilian driver Casemiro was considered a transfer candidate at FC Bayern after head coach Thomas Tuchel publicly called for a new six-man to be signed.

Ultimately, neither the 31-year-old nor any of the other supposedly dream players came to Munich. However, Casemiro should by no means have disappeared from view.

As the Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola now claims on his YouTube channel, a transfer of the midfielder from Manchester United to FC Bayern could primarily have to do with the personality of Xabi Alonso. According to Nicola, the Spaniard will most likely be on the sidelines of the German record champions from next season.

Casemiro reportedly wants to go to FC Bayern

Rumors about a possible involvement of Xabi Alonso began circulating after Bayer Leverkusen’s sensational start to the season, where the 42-year-old is under contract until 2026.

According to media reports, he has an exit clause in his working paper, and according to Spanish journalist José Álvarez, a move to FC Bayern next summer is already certain.

Before that, the Munich team would have to part ways with their current head coach Thomas Tuchel, who is still contractually bound until 2025. Of course, there have recently been no signs that FC Bayern no longer has any plans for the 50-year-old in the medium or long term.

According to Nicola, the change of coach at Säbener Straße would mean that a transfer of Casemiro to FC Bayern would become possible. The Brazilian is now basing his information on a description from third parties: “A friend of mine recently met Casemiro and saw in him a great desire to play for Bayern.”
