Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane is one of the hottest stocks on the transfer market. FC Bayern is always associated with the superstar – and could have a decisive advantage in the tug of war with the competition.
At least that’s what “Bild” journalist Christian Falk believes. Tottenham do not want to lose their goalscorer to direct competition from the Premier League.
FC Bayern knows “that it will be difficult if it is a question of money after being so successful on the market and signing Yann Sommer,” said Falk in his column for the “Caught Offside” portal.
“You also know Tottenham are not keen on losing Kane to another Premier League club – I’ve heard there will be a decision on that within the club so it could be a big opportunity for Bayern,” revealed the “Bild” reporter.
But it is still completely uncertain whether Kane will actually leave the Spurs in the summer. The 29-year-old still has a contract with Tottenham until 2024. “Tottenham don’t offer a big salary package at the moment so Bayern see an opportunity and they know the player doesn’t want to make a decision any time soon,” revealed Falk.
FC Bayern can lure with a title chance
Time would work “in favor” of FC Bayern. Manchester United in particular should also hope for a commitment from Kane.
“Bayern must keep hoping that Tottenham don’t sell to a club like United. Everyone knows that Harry Kane only leaves to win trophies. I’m not sure Manchester United can guarantee that at the moment, but Bayern Munich can ‘ said Falk.
According to the journalist, the German record champions also want to extend the working paper with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The 33-year-old is only tied to FC Bayern until the end of the season.
