In January 2022, FC Bayern loaned defensive talent Bright Arrey-Mbi to 1. FC Köln until the summer of 2023. Arrey-Mbi has played six times in all competitions for 96 this season. He played the full 90 minutes in the last five competitive games.
Arrey-Mbi moved from Chelsea FC youth team to Munich in 2019, where he made over 60 appearances for youngsters and made his professional debut in December 2020 as part of the Champions League. Hannover remains within striking distance of promotion
Hannover 96 has collected 27 points after 16 games this season and is fourth in the second division table. The gap to leaders SV Darmstadt 98, who have only completed 15 duels, is just five points.
