New offer
The potential transfer of Bayern Munich winger Sadio Mané to Al-Nassr FC in the Saudi Pro League is gaining momentum. After reports of an agreement between the 31-year-old Munich king transfer last summer and the Ronaldo club, only the “go” of the record champions seems to be missing. In order to bring about that as quickly as possible, Al-Nassr has now apparently increased its offer – and could bring the Bundesliga club an unexpected transfer plus.

So far, it has been said that at least 30 million euros are required on Säbener Straße for the Senegalese, who came from Liverpool in 2022. Al-Nassr has now clearly exceeded this pain threshold, reports the TV network “CBS“. Accordingly, the club in the Bavarian capital wants to make an offer of 40 million euros for Mané, but at the same time is pushing for a decision by the end of the month at the latest.
Should FC Bayern do so, the left winger, for whom 32 million euros had been transferred to Anfield Road last year, would achieve a whopping transfer plus of eight million euros. In this case, Mané would also advance into the top 3 of the most expensive Munich sales. Its market value, which once peaked at EUR 150 million, has fallen from EUR 70 million to EUR 25 million over the past year. According to the “CBS” report, the player at Al-Nassr will receive an immense salary of 40 million euros a year.

In 38 competitive appearances during his first season at FCB, Mané scored twelve goals and set up six more assists – but neither Julian Nagelsmann nor his successor Thomas Tuchel was able to earn a regular spot. Especially in the second half of the season, he often did not get beyond short assignments. The low point of his debut season was an incident with Leroy Sané in the course of the Champions League quarter-finals against Manchester City: Mané apparently hit his team-mate in the face and was then sanctioned by the club, even then there had been heated discussions in the TM community about the future of the player.
Since then, at the latest, the legal footer has had a difficult time in Munich. “He has not lived up to expectations. The competitive situation is extremely high for him with Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry, so we have a constellation that makes it very difficult for Sadio. The player knows that too, he knows my opinion and that of the club,” said Tuchel recently at the reigning champions’ training camp.
