New SBU reserve as a plus?
Eintracht Frankfurt reports completion: Bayern Munich’s talent Marcel Little will switch to SGE in the summer. Since the contract of the 17-year-old attacking midfielder in Munich expires, there is no fee. Little received a professional contract until June 30, 2025.
“With Marcel Wenig we are gaining a great German midfield talent,” explained Frankfurt’s sporting director Markus Krösche. “Over the past five years he has enjoyed training at the highest level at FC Bayern Munich and we would like to push this further. At his age, Marcel is of course only at the beginning of his development in the men’s division, which is why we will build him up carefully.”

On Monday, Krösche confirmed that he wanted to register a second team for the coming season. The background is to be able to “enable young perspective players from the first team who are not yet part of the regular squad to have game and competition practice at the highest possible level”. This would also give Little a top-class alternative during his early days with the “Adlerträger”.
Little had scored four goals in 17 games for the Munich U19s this season and his performances not only aroused the interest of Eintracht. According to reports, Borussia Dortmund had also tried to get the services of the right foot.
