FC Bayern: Torben Rhein before transfer to Hertha BSC – contract rejected

U19 national player Torben Rhein will apparently leave FC Bayern Munich after his contract expires at the end of June. Like “Bild” reporter Tobias Altschäffl in the podcast “Bavaria InsidersThe 19-year-old midfielder is expected to join his former club Hertha BSC on a free transfer.

Bayern had signed Rhein in 2017 from the youth of the “old lady”, from the U16 to the U19 and most recently in the regional league team he played for the record champions. Due to the lack of prospects in the professional squad, however, he decided against an extension. At Bayern II, Rhein was part of the permanent staff this season, if fit. He prepared four goals in 17 regional league games. Whether in the 1st or 2nd league: At home club Hertha he could take the next steps in the coming season.
